Register now — early bird rates until 19 May 2026
Posted: June 15, 2026
Registration is open for EAMT 2026 in Tilburg (15–18 June 2026). If you register before the early bird cutoff — 19 May 2026 (end of day) — you pay the lower early bird fee; from 20 May 2026 regular-period rates apply. Members of EAMT (and related IAMT associations) save on non-student rates; see the registration page for student and non-student options, optional workshops and tutorials on 15 June, and social events.
Completing your registration early helps us plan catering, badges, and venue logistics — and locks in the best price. We look forward to seeing you in Tilburg.

We have published full descriptions for the three tutorials at EAMT 2026 on 15 June: integrating free NMT and LLMs into CAT tools with MTUOC (Sergi Alvarez-Vidal & Antoni Oliver); human evaluation of translation and multilingual tasks (Vilém Zouhar, Maike Züfle & Dominik Macháček); and translation evaluation tools for freelancers and small LSPs (Yuri Balashov).
Heads-up: international train travel (Paris / Belgium / NL) in mid-June
Posted: March 29, 2026
If you are thinking about coming to Tilburg by train, you may have noticed that tickets for some international services—especially on the Paris–Brussels–Amsterdam–Rotterdam corridor around 13 and 14 June—are not on sale yet, sometimes without a clear notice on booking sites.
According to NS International, this is related to planned maintenance on the high-speed line (HSL) (including work in the Rotterdam area). The full impact is still being determined, so ticket sales have been paused as a precaution. At the moment there is no fixed date for when sales might reopen, or exactly how services will be affected.
We are not announcing a closure ourselves—this is simply what travellers have been told when asking operators—but we wanted to give you an early, friendly heads-up so you can monitor NS International (and other carriers), leave a little flexibility in your plans if you can, and consider alternatives if you were aiming to arrive a day or two before the conference. EAMT runs 15–18 June; we hope this helps a few people avoid a last-minute surprise.
